That song that made you better
You know that song that you listen to when you recover from the biggest obstacle of your life? Whether it is a break up, a loss, anything to keep you from being in that dark moment where sadness was a comfort zone. Suddenly new changes happen that makes life new and different. A new mind set starts to emerge, you start realizing yesterday's pain is something that should stay in the past. You find yourself smiling, when you realise who you are inside. There is always that one song that you can relate to spiritually. It's like your minds frequency sends off a message to a musical artist to write a song just for you. In my opinion "Music" that is relatable lyrically, can make you feel not alone and ready to take on the world.

Kpop Review: Hwasa's "Maria"
Mamamoo's powerful maknae is back with her signature sultry sound in her new single, "Maria." The Song: I'm not sure what I was expecting from this single, but this definitely wasn't it! I really like this song and the whole vibe it has. It's a unique blend of Latin pop and trap house music that works a lot better than one would think. I feel like Hwasa is always experimenting with her music, which I love. Her sound is very different from what idols usually put out for their solo music. Thinking back to a couple solo debuts we've had this year so far such as Lovelyz's Sujeong and Hwasa's fellow Mamamoo member Solar, they were great debuts but were very typical pop songs. I think Hwasa brings something very different to the table as a solo artist.

Echoes of Empowerment: How Kendrick Lamar’s Song ‘Alright’ Wakes up the Self
I wake up at five o’clock in the morning to one song and one song only. That is Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” from his album, To Pimp a Butterfly (2015). The echoes of empowerment, fighting through fear, and assuring within the souls of individuals that despite the circumstances, we will match the title of the song, envelop my ears.

Song of the Year
As we pass the midway point through the seemingly-endless year 2020, it's impossible to predict what the next six days will look like, much less six months. But it's safe to say that almost none of us will forget the general trajectory of events that have transpired. First came the global pandemic, tanking the economies of world powers after they shamefully denied the danger of Covid-19. Then, the calls from conservatives to reopen businesses before the virus was contained (it still isn't).

Top 6 Underrated songs from The Neighbourhood
At first, I wasn't a big fan of The Neighbourhood. I knew of the band when Sweater Weather came out. I remember seeing the stats on the Vh1 weekend countdown in the summer of 2013. I saw the success and it did have a good sound, but I wasn't entranced by the song. It just didn’t click with me. A couple of years later, I gave it a listen again, and I did find myself liking the song at a time when I could appreciate the sound and lyrics. Sweater Weather has been known as the magnum opus and only success of The Neighbourhood. The lead singer has even said it as well, that Sweater Weather will be all that's known to the legacy of the band. Although, the band has made some fantastic songs with unique sounds and lyrics. Most bands usually do the same routine, but not this one.

My First Reaction To Parasite Eve
Bring Me The Horizon have always been one of my favourite bands! They have so much energy and their sound is forever progressing which I love! Their new song Parasite Eve has been long awaited! It was announced near lock down that they would be releasing a new song. They even uploaded music vlogs on to their Youtube channel which shows the progress of the song and creating music. Watch them! It gives a good insight into how music is actually produced, especially in lock down. It has a Bring Me The Horizon twist to it and features Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish coming up with new music.
