Michael Moorcock: His Collaborations With Hawkwind and The Blue Öyster Cult
Introduction: On Michael Moorcock I first came across Michael Moorcock in the seventies through listening to Hawkwind, and that brought me to the four-book Runestaff set, which then introduced me to so many Multiverse novels and the Celtic Mythology Books of Corum of The Silver Hand, and Elric The Albino Stealer of Souls with his Black Blade, Stormbringer.

My Marathon Playlist
I recently ran my first ever marathon. When preparing my playlist for the run, I didn't find many playlists to choose from, so I decided to post mine. Of course, everyone's taste in music is different, and to be fair, my list is a good ol' bag of mixed goods.

Summer Tunes
Summer! The moment we all have been waiting for. Unless you live in Florida then perhaps we can just crank the A/C and veg out to some sounds that could take us to a relaxing place we are meant to be this time of year. The days can get doggy and your T-shirts soggy. But I got you, let’s play!

Bad B*tch Playlist
**A little bit of a language warning** Stop being a sad bitch and be a bad bitch. I have a lot of bad days, I'm not going to lie to you. I find that music influences my mood. No word of a lie, some days I search for sad music to soothe my spirits, other days, I need me a bit of a pick me up. I personally love every song in this playlist that I have created for Vocal. Give this one a listen if you're feeling down and let the music inspire you to be a bad bitch, not a sad one.

Why These Song Lyrics Are Some of My Favorites
I’m not going to lie to you. Song lyrics are secondary to me, somewhat behind the actual music. I love hearing an amazing guitar riff or solo. Some bangin’ drums. A solid bass line that is the backbone of an incredible song. Imagine that bass in the beginning of You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi. Or the intro to Higher Ground by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Incredible stuff.

A Breakup Music Playlist of Survival, Strength and Recovery.
Break ups hurt...especially if you wind up on the receiving end. Whoever in the relationship was guilty as charged for either calling the relationship off, or causing that outcome to happen would also feel that their heart and/or psyche would be smashed to pieces. At the best of times, being in love, as well as breaking up with someone (the longer, the more painful such events are) is suddenly like finding millions of little pieces of jigsaw puzzles scattered across the floor, and you are a contestant in Big Brother's panic room scrambling to pick up the pieces and rebuild; yet the clock is not on your side.

The Playlist
I've been interred by the idea of the playlist for some time now. I catch myself spending what seems like hours making them on Spotify, I get a whole variety of mixes of different genres and moods on my YouTube home feed. The playlist is something that's been with us for some time now ever since the cassette people made mixes of their favorite songs by recording them over on the original album releases or whenever it came on the radio, the moment people had control over it they took advantage of it. the mixes people would make out of these cassettes would be just as varied and mood centric as they are now, that's probably why a lot of the more vibey mixes on YouTube like to use anime form the 80s and 90s to help carry that feeling that can longer exist in its true form.

My Sporty Playlist — Gerald Sturgill
Your Blue Jay pal has compiled a list of his favorite sports music. Also, I just referred to myself in the third person and I absolutely don’t know how to feel about that. Oh well, thanks for the prompt and the shoutout. You shared with us your seven musical sports songs. I’ve got a couple of the same ones but a few different ones as well.

Indie Music Madness: A Seven-Song Playlist of Mayday, May Day Music Gems | Philly Music Vocalizer
I'm sending out a Mayday to the universe. That's because April showers bring May flowers. And May flowers bring… uh... your current Indie Music Madness hour playlist? That may be lame; I admit. But you want to know what's even more lame? The fact that this past April was the fastest month of my life. It's like I blinked and then it was gone. However, there's nothing like healing music for us contemplative creatures to throw out a Hail (or Heal?) Mary into the ether to actually sit down and enjoy our lives.
