Isabel (You Are My Mother)
In 2024 I wrote about 30+ lyrics for songs I would create using AI and digital tools. Somewhere within those 30+ the thought came to me that my mom deserves to be memorialized in song. She is an amazing person. Yes, I am biased but the lady truly is wonderful. She has done a lot of things to help others but first and foremost she has been one great mom. She and I have always had a very close relationship.

Five Minutes to Forever: The Power of Hot 97’s Who’s Next
The Enduring Impact of Hot 97's Who's Next Showcase There's an undeniable electricity in the air every time Hot 97's Who's Next Showcase takes over SOBs in New York City. As someone who's witnessed this event evolve over the years, I can attest that the May 27th edition promises to continue the tradition of launching careers while showcasing established talent like Zeddy Will, fresh off his new album Set the Tone, and Sturdy Youngin, who's been making waves across the city. What makes this showcase special isn't just the performances themselves, but the entire ecosystem that surrounds it , the scouts leaning against the walls with folded arms, the up-and-comers nervously pacing backstage, and the crowd that serves as the ultimate litmus test for star power.

Here’s To Me
Quite recently, I came across an ad for an AI song generator. Curiously, I downloaded the ad and asked it to create a song based on my life. I was asked to choose my song’s genre and preference of either male or female vocals. I am currently in my country girl, plaid shirt with cowgirl boots era so of course I went down that rabbit hole.
