Baker's Dozen: Vocal Milestones (2023 Playlist Edition)
Been on Vocal over two years. I have very little to show for all that time - and 127 posts. But, I do have a few things that could be considered “Milestones” here. And, what luck - most either have playlists embedded or I have a track in mind already. Last few hours of the challenge in mind, so let’s see how quick I can ruin this.

Life Songs
My life soundtrack…where do we start? Well let’s start at the beginning—childhood! I was born into a great family. My dad went to work and my mom stayed home to take care of the kids. There were four of us and we were your typical 1980s American children who loved to play outside and watch Saturday morning cartoons. That brings us to my first song…and one of the all time greatest cartoons.

She Colored My World
Very early in my life my mother introduced to me the necessity of good music. She was a young mother, and so even as we both grew older, our musical interests have never really divided. For a graduation gift, I received tickets to my first concert, featuring Reel Big Fish with Catch-22 and a few other awesome but lesser-known bands, and my mom was right there next to me, skanking it up in her clogs.

Baker's Dozen Beats: 13 Playlists I Listen to all the Time. Content Warning.
I've been waiting to do something like this for a while. I certainly have the number of playlists for it... Playlists are a huge part of my daily routine. They also play a major part in helping me develop characters and stories and bring extra enjoyment to my other hobbies! Whether I'm pacing the office, cleaning the kitchen, tearing it up in World of Warcraft, or just relaxing in the bathtub, I've got a playlist for it - or I'll make one! Think I've got close to 300 on Spotify, and I'm afraid to look at the other lists on my iPod...

Nomadic Child
As the child of a singer/songwriter, music has had a deeply unique and lasting effect on my life in general so it’s no surprise that there’s a soundtrack to my life in the songs that I have composed, performed and recorded myself. Each one is unique to me and this time you spend here is basically a shared introspective into my life, through my music and I hope you enjoy it.
