We Know Where The Time Goes by The FLK
Introduction I really haven't a clue how I can describe this record even though it's a permanent fixture on my phone and today it has been played at least four times by me today while I work, and I am listening to it once more as I write this piece.

Temptation - A Playlist
Introduction To quote Oscar Wilde: "I Can Resist Anything But Temptation" and today I wrote an excellent poem inspired by photos (of landscapes if case you were wondering) shared by my friend Cherri, you can read the poem and see the pictures below.

What Happened to Selena Gomez & the Scene???
In case you forget, during the late 2000s and 2010s, singer Selena Gomez was in a band called Selena Gomez & the Scene. Selena Gomez & the Scene was a pop-rock band that released three albums: Kiss & Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010), and When the Sun Goes Down (2011) all of which reached the top ten of the US Billboard 200 and were certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) until she went solo and became a Global pop icon. Beauty After Bruises by Louise Distras
Introduction I first saw Louise about five years back and was so impressed I bought her "Street Revolution" EP and then made the faux-pas of talking to her backstage and not realising it was her at first. C'est La Vie.

These Women Are Changing K-Pop
The Fourth Generation of K-pop officially began in 2018. If unfamiliar, K-pop is loosely divided into generations which last technically a decade, but in practice more about every five years. All groups who debuted from sometime in early 2018 are considered Fourth Generation. Technically, the Fourth Generation should come to an end soon--but like I said--these categorizations are a bit nebulous and somewhat determined after the fact.

A Literary Playlist
Introduction I was listening to "The Village Green Preservation Society" by The Kinks and "Animal Farm" came on, and I got thinking of the many songs that shared their titles with often classic book titles so I thought that would be a good idea for a musical playlist.

I Been Drinkin’
Imagine yourself surrounded by a crowd of happy fans of music that you love. It’s the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, and it’s your first time in the city and at the festival. It’s September 2015, and you’re a few feet away from the biggest stage you’ve ever seen in person. You’re here to see the one person that’d make you spend all the money that you don’t really have. Hours ago you flew in on a plane that rescued you from college homework, and now you’re actually here. The day has slowly ticked away. But, you are filled with joy because it’s approaching the time you’ve waited for since the first time you heard her music. And overall. The day, for the most part, has been a positive learning experience and amazing. To get through the nerves and the wait, you whisper your favorite lyrics to the first song you think she’ll sing tonight…
