Rock n' roll, boy bands, jazz trios, and more; the greats, newbies, and forgotten icons who create our favorite groups.
A Tale of Two Queensryches
Queensrÿche was a great band, and in many ways, still is. In fact, the first CD I ever owned was Queensrÿche’s 'Empire.' I loved the music video, and fully enjoyed the harmonies, the vocals, the overall feel of the song. It was a great song, a great album, and it made me a fan.

Fickle Reputations
Signing a record contract is like accepting admission to college. Artists are forced to declare a major; a genre that will be the focus of their musical projects for at least the next four years. However, artists today are very fickle—not many have remained loyal to the genre of music that they began their careers with.

Laughs Weren't All You Were Getting Last Night!
There's nothing like amazing music to make a point. With a team of winners, there is nothing that can stop you. That is why I chose this song by "Nas & Puff Daddy- Hate Me Now" it gives off strength and confidence, which I felt last night. I had all my friends there to support my new album.

Daddy Stingray Returns with his Sweet Talkin' Symphony
Who knew that without Daddy Stingray the world we know would barely exist. All the more remarkable since his musical sting and songwriting only blesses us every 15,000 years. In the desolate interim, Daddy Stingray lives in a cave nestled beneath a volcano. But he does at least make frequent appearances as Dave Hoffman - father, husband and entertainment scene professional.

Music is often under appreciated by the general population, not nearly generating the respect that it absolutely deserves. The Greatest Band of All Time
When talking about the ranking of bands throughout the history of modern music, many will quickly argue that there is no true best band of all time. With legends such as Kiss, Guns N’ Roses, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, and AC/DC, it can be difficult for uneducated people to pick one to lead the list. But when it comes down to ranking the best bands of all time there is no challenge to say that Led Zeppelin sits at number one. Many will quickly state that whichever band is their personal favorite will be the best, or who ever has sold the most records, etc... but with band members, guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant, bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones, and drummer John Bonham, their individual talent alone sits them in the top five guitarist, singer, bassist, and drummers. Gaining huge momentum in gaining their title of “Best Band Ever made”.

BTS's Sexiest Dance Moves
I just had to make a feature about the South Korean boy band that has taken the world by the storm, none other than BTS. So what does BTS stands for? In Korean, BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which literally translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts. And their fandom is called ARMY. In BTS's recent guesting on The Ellen Show, RM (the group's leader) explained that since they are called Bulletproof Boy Scouts, the fans, the ARMY, are standing beside them, which is such a really great notion.

The Struts: Your New Favorite Band
It may be a stretch, but I think the Struts might just save rock-and-roll. The first time I found the Struts, I was on the search for Humbug-esque (Arctic Monkeys 2009 album) music. I had Spotify on shuffle and was listening out for minor chords when I happened across the exact opposite: an album titled, Everybody Wants. Upon first glance, I was turned off, as the cover made it seemed too glitzy for my tastes. So I skipped past the album without even listening to one song.

A Colors Show: A YouTube Channel Fit for Everyone
About a year ago I stumbled upon the most unique, avant-garde YouTube channel in today’s society called Colors. Colors is based in Berlin, Germany, though their followers reach worldwide. Their motto is "all colors, no genres," providing a platform for not just a solo artist but also bands, to have a place to perform where they are associated with a color rather than a genre.
