Don Broco: My first post-lockdown gig
The original date for this gig was the 31st of August, but it got postponed to the 8th of November. Don Broco didn’t have much luck the last time they were due to perform at the O2 in Oxford. The toilets exploded and people were standing in human waste without even realising it. Must have been a bummer for the band. Oh well, shit happens... I liked how they had a sense of humour and thanked the 02 for fixing the toilets. I wasn't there when this infamous incident happened, but if I was there, I would have felt like I was back at work during a D&V outbreak.

I guess like most people I started working back in my teenage years. Work either meant flipping burgers and "you want fries with that shake". Or shoveling pieces of meat that resembled chicken into a bucket. The 'cool' kid in class was a night manager, had a plastic name tag and everything. IDLES & Heroes
Today marks four years since I was introduced to IDLES. I tell this story all the time, but alas, I will tell it again as I enjoy telling it. It's my blog and I'll do what I want to. Cool. ANYWAY, one of the perks of doing my apprenticeship at Buzz Magazine in Cardiff meant getting to go to gigs I wanted to review for the magazine, and one of them was to see Peace at Tramshed, as part of Swn Festival. There were two other bands on before IDLES, then IDLES, and then Peace.
