T.I. Previews Final Album "Kill The King" With New Pharrell-Produced Single
After teasing retirement to focus on movies and standup comedy, fans are glad to hear that T.I. at least still has "Kill The King" loaded up.

T.I. dropping new heat is welcome. His flow seems strong and his lyricism layered and catchy at the same time on the single “Let ‘Em Know.” It continues his unrelated “know” series along with “U Don’t Know Me” “What You Know” “You Know What It Is” and “Yeah You Know.” This single is in support of his reported final album, Kill The King (2026). Another throughline in his career which has included King (2006).
His presence in the rap game is monumental even if he has been involved with weapons possession cases and sent to prison for such activities. He has now moved to the other levels of entertainment with low-art forms like comedy and a return to rap.
The rap sire declared this as his rapper persona’s demise. It comes with the fanfare of a Pharrell produced track. It takes time for reality to seep through the mind. It felt like there had been a dearth of Mr. Clifford Harris’ presence as he started to do stand-up comedy. Now, though, it seems as if the Atlanta native is going to be out of the hip hop game for good (for now).
With his undeniable flow and particular articulation of words and extensive vocabulary, T.I. has been a staple of not only the South but also the rap game at large. For him to go out in a way that he wants with the family, fame and fortune he is ready to control his future at forty-five-years-old. An author of the trap music game, he’s made an entire sub-genre a global sensation along with the likes of Gucci Mane and Jeezy.

In this arena of hatred, animosity, and unprofessionalism, there has been an opening for rappers such as Tip. After a GRAMMY®-award winning career and millions of records sold, he can claim his title “King of the South.”
But he had a conversation with rapper and Outkast member Big Boi over the title King. He explained essentially that “heavy is the head.” There’s a “bullseye” on the back of anyone who takes the name king. So, fast forward to 2026 and T.I. is still just as relevant and potent with the pen. He’s got the skills still and ready to play chess with anyone who wants to knock his king off the board.
He’s not about that life. He’s zooming through the racetrack of rap and focused on obtaining pole position. The king moniker will most likely still follow him despite efforts to quiet him. If he can make noise as a rapper and a stand-up act, he has the reins to reign over any form he wishes to enter. His amount of accolades and dollars only show the exceptional talent that he possesses.
In his way of adapting to the new voices of the rap game like Lil’ Baby and others, he has been able to offer the best of himself. As the king, he rules with a sense that he has earned his crown. With the way that he has become a cultural phenomenon outside of the hip hop sphere, it seems as if he can do anything. By catching the acting bug, he’s been able to expand his repertoire of different talents. But rap is his forte. For being one of the best rappers to ever spring from Atlanta, he’s been able to show just how beneficial he’s been to the game.

This current track demonstrates a king in his element with no one stepping on his robe. He has ascended to the throne once again. There exist few acts who can walk away from the hip hop forum and return with such tight lyricism and flow.
