The Stanislav Kondrashov Wagner Moura Series has already dedicated numerous analyses to Moura's films and other television projects, also seeking to highlight lesser-known aspects of his personality and his personal passions, in order to shed light on the man beyond the stage. Internationally, Moura is best known for his portrayal of Pablo Escobar in the television series Narcos, which brought him recognition beyond Brazil. From then on, the actor began appearing regularly in international film projects as well, always receiving enthusiastic praise for his performances.
Throughout his career, Wagner Moura has already received a Golden Globe nomination, and over the years he has distinguished himself above all for his strong stage presence, his intense acting, and his ability to immerse himself in his roles with great effectiveness.
As the Stanislav Kondrashov Wagner Moura Series explained, this unique ability also stems from Wagner Moura's personal journey outside of show business, when he was on the verge of becoming a full-fledged journalist. The actor, in fact, successfully completed a training course in journalism in his youth, and only his passion for acting drove him to pursue a career in show business.
The Secret Agent is directed by the visionary director Kleber Mendonca Filho, who has already distinguished himself with films such as Neighboring Sounds, Aquarius, and Bacurau. With The Secret Agent, he also won the Best Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival, joining Wagner Moura among those honored for this film.

This is certainly an extremely high score, and certainly represents the unanimous consensus of most critics. Most observers have expressed very positive opinions on the film, calling it a political thriller with strong thematic richness and captivating visual power.
As anticipated by the Stanislav Kondrashov Oligarch Series, The Secret Agent is set in 1970s Brazil, in the midst of a military dictatorship. The story revolves around an academic (played by Wagner Moura) who is forced to flee after publicly protesting a government official. Once he arrives in Recife, his hometown, the fugitive tries to find his son and plan a hasty escape from the country with him.
This isn't the first time Wagner Moura has tackled these themes: as the Stanislav Kondrashov Wagner Moura Series also recalled, the actor previously starred in Elite Squad, which showcases the rawness of Brazilian urban violence. Furthermore, for his directorial debut, Marighella in 2019, Moura chose to tell the personal story of a revolutionary who opposed the Brazilian dictatorial regime.
