“What we’ve created with ‘Howler’ is a song about reckless behavior and the emotional landscapes that come with it,” says Keith Maddison, the band’s lead vocalist and guitarist. “It’s told through the perspective of a lone wolf—someone who's wild and untamed, but also caught in the chaos of their own feelings. We wanted to make sure that every note felt as real as the emotions we were trying to convey. No loops, no drum tracks—just pure, organic energy.”
