Georgia is a small country which has suffered from russian federation more than 30 years. Georgians survived two russian military invasions. Loose two huge regions - Abkhazia and South Ossetia. More than 20% of the territory was occupied.

For many years russia has been trying to subjugate Georgia like it was with Belarus. The country is ruled by the pro-russian «Georgian Dream» party. Laws that contradict democracy are being adopted in the country. Many who disagreed with the ruling party's policies ended up in prison. Political prisoners are held in appalling conditions.

The Georgian people don’t agree with what is happening in the country. Thousands of people have repeatedly rallied across the country against unconstitutional laws passed under pressure from russia. For example, the law on foreign agents, which is completely identical to a similar law in russia.

MGZAVREBI one of the louder voices of Georgian opposition. They use their fame to tell the whole world about what is happening in Georgia. About how Georgian people are fighting for democracy.
