Clementine Moss - Bridging Rock, Reflection and the Divine
From Powerhouse Drummer to Introspective Songwriter, her latest album "Nothing Will Keep Us Apart", explores Love, Light and the Spaces Inbetween.

Clementine Moss is a creative force - drummer, songwriter, singer, and writer - whose music bridges the raw power of rock with the introspection of folk and spiritual music.
Best known as the powerhouse drummer behind ZEPPARELLA, she has spent over two decades honoring John Bonham’s legendary style while forging her own unique path as a musician and storyteller.
While her drumming captures the unrestrained energy of Led Zeppelin, her solo work explores a different emotional and sonic terrain, blending poetic lyricism with minimalist yet deeply evocative instrumentation.
Her latest project, entitled Nothing Will Keep Us Apart, is a seven-song pop/folk album that highlights her evolution as a songwriter and vocalist.
It is a collection of intimate, reflective songs that explore love in its many dimensions. Romantice, divine, and the kind that exists in the quiet spaces between.
“Most of my songs are about love—both for others and the divine,” Clementine shares. “Where do we find light when so much feels dark? It’s only in love that we find freedom, even when holding to that truth isn’t easy.” That central theme of searching for light amid darkness runs through the album, making it a deeply personal and emotionally resonant body of work.
Co-written with producer/bassist Robert Preston and keyboardist William Cameron, the album’s compositions are rich with nuance and atmosphere.
Taking inspiration from artists like Tom Waits, St. Vincent, and Norah Jones, Clementine and her collaborators crafted arrangements that strip away excess, allowing her lyrics and vocal performances to take center stage. Instead of traditional drumkit tracks, the album’s instrumentation relies on piano and bass as its foundation, with layers of percussion creating a textural, almost meditative quality.
“I wanted the instrumentation to reflect the spiritual undertones of these songs,” she explains. “Using elements from my shamanic practice—Tibetan bowls, tabla - felt natural. These sounds help express the deeper, conversational nature of the music.”
The result is an album that feels both deeply grounded and transcendent, inviting listeners into an intimate space of reflection and discovery.
Her latest single Kill Me All Day exemplifies her ability to translate raw emotion into sound.

The track captures the complexity of love and longing, weaving together vulnerability and strength in a way that has become a signature of her songwriting. It follows a string of releases that have been widely celebrated for their evocative lyrics and minimalist yet powerful arrangements.
As well as her work as a musician, Clementine is also an author. Her book, "From Bonham to Buddha and Back: The Slow Enlightenment of the Hard Rock Drummer" is an exciting exploration into the intersection between music and spiritual growth.
In it, she reflects on her journey as a musician and seeker and offers insight into how the intensity of rock and the stillness of meditation can coexist. Just like in her music, she invited audiences to consider the ways in which creativity can be a bridge between the earthly and the divine.
Clementine Moss’s artistic journey is one of constant evolution.
Whether behind the drumkit, at the microphone, or putting pen to paper, she approaches her music with an openness that allows her to continually explore new dimensions of expression.
While her roots in rock are undeniable, Clementine’s willingness to embrace vulnerability and spiritual inquiry sets her apart as a singular voice in modern music. Each project she undertakes is an exploration of self, of sound, of the divine. Whether through the thunderous rhythms of ZEPPARELLA or the meditative beauty of her solo work, her music is a powerful reminder that music is not just something we listen to—it is something we feel, something that transforms us.
With "Nothing Will Keep Us Apart", she has created an album that is both deeply personal and resonant to global audiences.
