Bnxn, Bella Shurda, Bigiano and Lucid Drops Projects in The Same Week

It is a great week for afrobeat music in Nigeria. The third week of the month of October saw a lot of happenings in the music industry. As you can tell, of recent, the Nigerian music industry has been highly competitive and in demand. Due to this reason, the artistes are begining to put in a lot of work to make sure they are worthy of the whole competition. Asake is currently in the limelight and he is obviously one whom a lot of these guys are trying to out-do or out-sell at the moment. Artistes like 2face, Faze or even Eedris Abdulkareem are respected for setting the tone, but even they will testify that the competition back then was not as tedious as the one we have here. The major predicament they faced in their error was the issue of piracy. It was so bad, most of the artiste at the time could not reach their full potential financially. Some even dedicated their music careers to sing about ending the heartlessness of piracy. Shout out to 2shotz.

This headline might be a little bit terifying for the under dog in between. That would be the new artiste. Sure you know atleast three out of these four who had dropped an album or a single in the same week as others in this article's headline. Bnxn, Bella Shmurda and Bigiano at one point or the other have has their share of the limelight. They will easily get attention anytime they have something new to dish out. This might not be the same for any upcoming artiste, except they are being backed by a strong platform or personality in the country. It has never been rosey for upcoming artistes and you will always bump on their disgusts on the internet over the rough playing field they have to compete in to get the smallest attention. Venturing into music is nothing to joke about and we think everybody is gradually getting the picture.

Bnxn fomerly known as Buju was introduced to us by Burnaboy on the remix of his hit breakout single. So, we know he came out strong. He made a lot of waves in his first year and was later norminated in the next rated category which he won. He announced on twitter recently that a song will drop in the coming days.

Bella Shmurda is another brilliant afrobeat artiste who also claimed his spot not so long ago. Some would argue that he is untouchable on his lane. Made a couple of great songs and also put together a music sqaud. He happens to have dropped an album this week too. The album is titled Hypertension.

Bigiano is an already made name and an OG in the music business in Nigeria. His 2008 single will still shut down clubs in Nigeria and outside the shores even in this day and time. He recently dropped the amapiano version to Shayo where he featured Jaybreeze. He also had a single drop this week. This one is Pizza Bizza and it featurs Portable the Zazuu crooner. If you recall, a couple clips and images was released to the internet concerning the video shoot, and Portable went viral for using a funny custume. Nigerians attacked Portable for not being so fashionable, he turned around and accused the Bigiano's camera set crew instead. He claimed they styled him.

And the under dog on the list who we would think would be shaken to be competiting with greats on the same week. But no, that is not the situation. Lucid is quite confident that his song will do well despite the fact that these other great names have set thier release for this time too.
