Toxic Relationships Have Been Removed From My Life Part 2
I began working late in life as a result of being offered to care for my mother; granted, there were a few short-term jobs, but nothing that I would consider meaningful. I had moved out of my parents' house and into my own apartment, complete with a job. Even though what transpired had nothing to do with a hazardous atmosphere, it was one of the things I learnt not to do. I'd made the blunder of working at a restaurant and rented an apartment from them that was above another company. It had made it a bit too handy for the owner of the business below my flat to call on me on the spur of the moment, and for where I worked to call on me on the spur of the moment.I'd made the error of working at a restaurant and renting an apartment from them that was above another company. It was a bit too convenient for my boss to summon me on the spur of the moment, and for the owner of the business below my flat to accuse me of things I had nothing to do with; it was more about the landlord needing to do things than it was about me, but I digress.

The light of the hunters
The cabin sat on the edge of a lake with a large, wooded area behind it, which went on for several miles with marked trails and wild animals and a lake in front of it. A woman who was just recently divorced from her husband for being too overbearing had decided to take her twin kids, one a boy and one a girl on an old-fashioned camping trip. The kids had the option of swimming or boating in the lake, but they wanted to go exploring in the woods.

Message to the Editor
Please accept my heartfelt greetings to anyone it may affect. I'm writing in response to the Pear Tree challenge because I don't think I'll be able to come up with a good tale about a pear tree. I don't seem to have the same amount of inspiration for this round as I had for the others. Even though I used a photo of a pear tree next to a tiny lake with two star-crossed lovers making beautiful love under the tree, it didn't seem to work for me; all I could come up with was the tired and expected romance scenario. I did able to create a piece of the narrative, which you can read below:

The City of the Blessed
As the cursed waggon pulled them through woodland waste, the trip was lengthy and rocky. Maleah sat in the eerie stillness, watching the sky change hues. The waggon lurched to a halt as dusk fell. She heard a bell ring somewhere in the near distant.

Female Alpha for the First Time
I was considering taking the lone route since I knew the pack would never tolerate me having a female leader beside me. My parents, the alpha and Luna of our pack, raised me as their only child. It just so happened that because I'm a woman, everyone expected me to select a male companion. However, because I am a lesbian, this is not the case. I've always been drawn to our pack's female members. There was only one problem: none of the females in my pack were interested in girls. I'd always go out into town and look for a women to hang out with, generally out of towners.
