End of the beginning
Adam, Ptolemy, and Alexander, still shaken from their encounter with the creature, finally reached the top of the tower. The scene that greeted them was one of utter chaos. Guards were scrambling in all directions, their faces pale with fear and confusion. The once orderly and disciplined force now seemed to be unraveling at the seams.

The beginning of the end
In a place secluded from the world, where the sounds of civilization never reach and the marks of progress remain unseen, lies a mysterious city, encircled by three massive walls, each larger and taller than the one before it. The walls are arranged in a perfect circle around the city, and it is said that behind each wall lies a secret known only to a few wise elders. These walls give the city an impenetrable appearance, as if it harbors something of great value or perhaps a profound mystery that its inhabitants fear might escape into the world.
