The Hottest Spring Bods in Women's Sports of 2021 Pt. 7
Annah Stanley A native of Troy, Ohio, the five-foot-nine, Annah Stanley is a talented performer in the world of track and field. She competed for Thomas More, a school in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, during the 2020 indoor season. In her first meet, Stanley shined with a runner-up finish in the long jump, a third place result in the 800-meter relay and a fourth place finish in the 200 meters. In high school during the 2019 season, Stanley qualified for the state finals at Troy High School in the 400-meter relay.

May 18 New York 86, Minnesota 75 New York started its season 3-0 with a home win over Minnesota that fell to 0-2. Led by point guard Sabrina Ionescu's triple-double of 26 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, New York trailed 45-43 at the half but used a 19-10 third quarter to turn things around and capture the victory. New York forward Betnijah Laney, continued her strong start with 20 points on 8-12 shooting. She also had five assists. Minnesota veteran star center Sylvia Fowles led her team with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

Track & Field 2k21: USATF Open
Brisco fastest at USATF Open 100 meters Mikiah Brisco won the 100 meters at the USATF Open, Tuesday, May 18 in Fort Worth, Texas. The 24-year-old sprinter from the United States recorded a time of 11.42. Brisco won the final ahead of runner-up Jamaican sprinter Veronica Campbell-Brown who clocked in at 11.55 and American Caitland Smith who finished at 11.60 for third place.

Breanna Stewart A five-year pro that averages 20 points per game for her career, Breanna Stewart had a strong opening game for Seattle scoring 28 points on 47.4 percent shooting from the field and 87.5 percent from the free-throw line. She also grabbed 13 rebounds. Steward knocked down three of eight three-point attempts as well. Breanna is a 26-year-old, 6-4 forward.

Indiana made it a 20-15 game after a timeout when Kelsey Mitchell scored her ninth point on a three-pointer.
