Being taken for granted
Why is it that no matter how much you do for some people, it never feels like enough? You prioritize their needs above your own, constantly worrying about how your actions might affect them. You hold back, thinking, "I can’t do this; it might hurt them." And yet, in the end, you’re the one left hurt, wondering what you lacked or what more you could have done. Sometimes, people just need to take a moment to appreciate, understand, and be grateful for the care and effort given to them.

When Joy and Sorrow Collide
I went to meet my niece who had just been born. I was so happy to be at the hospital; normally, I hate going there, but this time, I was filled with joy. However, it's not always good news for everyone. As I was leaving the hospital, I saw a man crying, pouring his heart out in the elevator. The people around him were curious and asked why he was crying like that. He replied, "My wife is no more." He was trembling, barely able to stand. The people in the elevator held his hand and said, "Be strong," but only God knows what he was going through. It felt as if the ground had slipped from under his feet. I felt like crying too. Life can be so unpredictable, bringing happiness and sorrow in the same breath.
