What’s up with Golf?
Last week on a sunny and warm summers day I was golfing with my cousin at a course I’d never played before. Since he’d played the course numerous times, he pointed out where to hit the ball to get the best lie. We walked up to a hole that had a fairway that was twenty-feet-wide. I could only see the fairway for sixty-yards, and then it dropped over a hill. The score card said that this hole was one hundred and twenty yards. My cousin said to hit the ball in the middle of the fairway and just over the top of the hill.

A few years ago, a friend of mine and I were driving to Lilydale Park in Saint Paul to go for a walk and take some photos. As I drove to the southwest there was an orange sign up ahead that read, Road Closed. “Oh no,” I said. We can’t get into the park; the road is closed.”

I was hiking along a trail and came upon a stairway carved out of the side of a mountain. The stairway was twenty-five feet wide and twenty feet deep. It went straight up to the top at a forty-five-degree angle. I was climbing with two other people and there was a stone arch every twenty-feet all the way to the top

The Best Stew on the Planet Years ago, I was at my mom’s cousins house for dinner. The moment I walked in the door there was this delicious smell coming from the oven. I met my parents there and we were in the living room visiting and laughing about current events and our lives. Some old stories were also told and we were having a good time. The aroma coming from the kitchen was driving me crazy it smelled so good. I was hungry and the smell was making my mouth water. The conversation continued on and I was getting hungrier by the minute.
