True Colors
When I step into my long silk robe, I’m stepping like royalty. Royalty yes that’s me. My color is purple. It doesn’t take a genius to know that I am so subtle. Like the glistening in my eyes the light shine through, I am fearfully and wonderfully made yes this is true. I used to color everything purple in my youth, my teacher said I would be famous guess there was some truth. Although everyday I try to do my best, sometime my best still gets put to the test. My destiny still awaits my entering in. I will not rest until my book comes to an end. I go and put on my long silk robe you see, to go out there and be the best part of me.

first date
I have arrived at the restaurant on a blind date. My date had arrived early and he was waiting for me. As I was approaching remembering what he said he was going to be wearing, I spotted him and for a moment I took a deep breath in awe and exhaled. There was a bottle of Merlot at the center of the table with some beautiful carnations. He was there sitting in anticipation. As I was getting closer he recognized me from the description, and he stood up standing tall and well groomed he extended his hand towards me to escort me to my chair as we introduced ourselves. His name is Johnathan. I said, I’m Victoria. I looked at the bottle of Merlot and he kindly asked, Have some Merlot? I replied, yes please that will be nice. I looked slightly away with a little grin thinking, my friend Lisa did a good job setting up this blind date. I thought to myself, he is like a breat of fresh air.
