Chronic Feeling-Like-a-Slacker Syndrome
I've never felt more like a superhero than after I chug a venti cold brew with a shot of espresso. I get off that toilet feeling invincible; it feels like I have the chance to meet the self-inflicted expectations of the day. It only lasts as long as the existential dread stays quiet.

Why You Feel Trapped
There’s no pathway. We’re all just Paleontologists looking at fossils that give us an idea of what worked in the past but has no guarantee of success in the present. It’s scary because everything’s unknown and every small decision brings life changing consequences. I mean the most life-altering decision in my life came from a split second decision I made in the shower with all the lights turned off.

Oh, the things we learn holed up in a hotel room for five days. I got lucky as an essential business worker because I almost lost my mind during a five-day quarantine. I might've become The Joker if I'd endured an entire pandemic of it.
