Gender Stereotypes are Outdated
I'm glad that our society is becoming more aware and understanding towards different genders, and that more people are allowed to be themselves. When I think back to the fact that for centuries gender and sex were viewed as the same thing, and that everyone had to fit into what a boy or girl should be, it's hard to fathom.

Whatever
We as humans have a tendency to get caught up in stuff that really doesn't matter in the bigger picture. You hear people everywhere stressing or complaining about stuff that's literally pointless, and won't even affect them. This wastes a lot of energy, that you'd be way better off putting into something else.

Stop Complaining About Getting Older
I think a lot of people when they're young struggle with the thought of getting older and having it sink in that their lives might change. Maybe there's a fear of responsibility involved, or perhaps they simply are worried that turning into an adult means becoming boring. Hopefully, as we grow up, we realise that we shouldn't dread getting older, but acknowledge how lucky we are that we get to see another year.

Black People Don't Owe You Anything
Before we get into it, I just want to say that not all English people are racist. I totally understand that some people have that impression following the aftermath of the Euros. The abuse and discrimination has been overwhelming, and my immediate thought was honestly that England is a lost cause. It's hard to understand that people can be so hateful over something that doesn't matter.

Why You Should Never Force a Child to Hug You
I'm sure we've all seen it happen or experienced it ourselves. Some adults will force a child to hug them even when the child clearly doesn't want to. It's pretty much been normalised that it's acceptable to hug a child that's screaming or crying, or even forcefully trying to get away, completely disregarding what the child actually wants. This is an unhealthy attitude that doesn't belong in our society at all.
