Goodbye Idiot Hookers: 'Scream Queens' Will Not Return for Season 3
The great TV cull of 2017 claims another victim as #RyanMurhpy's #ScreamQueens takes a tumble down the stairs and snaps its neck courtesy of Fox. Since 2015 we battled the sassy and classy Chanels, a Red Devil Killer, and Jamie Lee Curtis in her best role since Laurie Strode. Season 2 introduced a new foe with the Green Meanie alongside nostalgia stars like Kirstie Alley and Jerry O'Connell, but it wasn't enough to ensure that we would battle a Blue boogeyman or Yellow Yeti in Season 3. With a huge slump in ratings from its promising start, the news that Scream Queens won't be back for more is no big shock, even to the dim-witted Chanels.

It's an Anti-Matter of Fact: James Gunn Reveals Which Fox Character He Wanted for 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

However, in the meantime we are locked in a bitter (Infinity) war where you can't say the name Reed Richards without causing a (Sue) Storm in a teacup. Thanks to a bitter dispute about who owns which characters, we are left with two Quicksilvers, minimal X-Men in Deadpool, and why people are unsure how you can have a Spider-Man-less Venom movie.

Where There's a Quill There's a Way: Did 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Introduce Peter Quill's Sister?
The world's most dysfunctional family returned for #JamesGunn's #GuardiansoftheGalaxy2, and among the hugging and daddy issues, we finally solved the mystery of who popped a bun in Meredith Quill's oven that rolled over from 2014's first film. It was certainly a family affair as Gunn retconned the #comicbook storylines and made the spherical mass that was Ego the Living Planet into Star-Lord's actual father. Elsewhere, Drax dropped an Easter Egg about his daughter — the comic book character Moondragon — and Quill's grandfather also had a cameo. However, were we too blinded by a dancing shrub to miss another member of the Quill family tree right in front of our eyes?
