Black Adam will star in his own film, according to DC, in addition to someday making an appearance in a Shazam movie (though perhaps not the first one). The film, which is a spin-off of the 2019 film Shazam!, will be released on October 21st, 2022. Stranger still, there are rumors that he might also show up in Aquaman, Suicide Squad and the upcoming Gotham City Sirens show that DC has no problem putting villains in the spotlight on the big screen.
