The Transitional Period
Amove towards the future feels like forever. From new experiences to busy schedules. A time is upon the dawn. Traveling through a time that’s always accelerating, distance is what curves the present. Leaves of a blooming rose falls over to be seeded into the ground so that their own rose buds may bloom. Forces of life blend & change like leaves in the wind. While a single rose, loses its petals if flows through the air so it can be with another.

The 24/7 Diner
Prelogue: It was dark. 8:30pm to be exact. My Uber pulled up to a 24/7 diner. Next to it was a black & blue Motel that i planned on staying in for the weekend. 2 stories where was a big chimney in the front office that covered both floors. The doors where painted blue and the rest of the motel was black on the outside. I came in with my boyfriend of 5 months. Red stripped t-shirt with blue stars on it & solid blue shorts is what he wore. I had on a black shirt with the 7 millennium items from the yugioh anime that i watched so much. We was going to attend an anime convention for the weekend. We waited last minute to find a hotel & this was the only place that had a room.

The Curious Sorcerer
Blistering winds flow through the wind. Cherry blossoms fill the air. Memories of when I was filled with euphoria. Excited for the next moment or phase in life. When a pandemic started and the isolation began, something started that wasn’t intended to. A reunion that became a complicated relationship.

Being Alone in a Crowded world
Everywhere we go, today is separated in silence. Covered in sheets of fear, the act of being social becomes a withering fight for survival. The world that’s filled with knowledge and visual stimuli, we can get overwhelmed & burnt out faster than most. Adjusting to new measures of living we try to make the social scene known but yet barriers barricade us an we all end up alone (together) in this crowded world.

Choice of Music from a Specific Decade
Growing up, music has become something that helps define where you came from. The ’90s was a time where genres expanded & each one got more chances to be in the spotlight. New genres emerged and boy bands became a thing. Female artists & foreign artists also became more widespread. Genres branched out more & new styles emerged as well. So if you can only listen to music from a specific decade, the 90s might be the choice to go with.

The Art of Setting Boundaries
Growing up I was was the people pleaser. Helping them out & setting my priorities aside to cater to their needs. At times it’s ok to help other people & out of the kindness of who you are, making others happy builds your own character as well.

Staying Active & Healthy
Dreaded heat that makes your blood boil. Hot days where you just want to live in a pool. In the state of the world where everyone is isolated by many & shelter inside, our everyday routine is altered. Rushing for air we walk along the streets to see what would seem normal but the aftermath of what is still dormant. Feeling so slow & sluggish it is difficult to not just find the motivation to work out & be active but the find the confidence & thrive to keep going.

Cynicism
Growing up isn’t always easy. Learning about life & fighting the everyday struggles. Approaching someone new, you hear their words & you question their intent. Overtime you grow to find interest, but they start to ask for favors. You worry their intentions are more self reliant.

The Burnout Syndrome
Energy drain as the days pass. Conforming into the old ways of ordinary. Bored out my mind or just cruising through, The theory of nostalgia is what helps me through. The power of silence & being alone becomes eminent. The reality of silence is placed while the doors of the world are opened. As shops & establishments open my door closes.

The Little Things
This feeling deep inside that I cannot hide. I try so hard to change what it means in order to make things ok but it doesn’t do it’s job. I’ve spent too long searching for peace only to question my feelings. I walk along this path alone without the answer that I seek. A simple yes or no doesn’t validate what’s at stake.
