Just Luck

Just luck ! Yes it was just luck after all ! Jack was an old bushy, a lean and healthy septuagenarian set in his way and very reluctant to accept change as the outside world evolved around him and lived a humble life as a widower in his retirement, isolating himself from outside influence where possible. He only went into the city which was about 60 kilometers from his home when he could find no other way of transacting business, or seeking medical care ! He used his computer and even with minimal instruction was sufficiently smart enough to do his banking and much of his shopping on line, collecting items purchased from the post office sub branch nearby!
