A Day in the Life
“Now I know you want to take me alive but I want to know why” I turn slowly to look at each individual person before I face the one I assume is in charge. He is wearing a badge on his uniform unlike the others and his face seems to be more cruel. When he doesn’t open his mouth to speak I push down on the trigger slightly and that seems to startle the group. Even the leader falters a little. “Someone better speak up.”

A Day in the Life
Samson is blocking the front door, he’s trying to keep me here. “You can’t leave, if they don’t get you they will kill me. They won’t hurt you, they promised!” He steps forward to try and grab me so I throw myself over the banister to try and escape. I don’t stick the landing as my trainer lands on a broken piece of ceramic and I fall. My hand lands in a shard of glass and I yelp in pain.

Dreams
A day or so ago I posted a short story that was roughly based on a dream that I had a few nights ago. It was a dream where someone I loved was taken from me too soon. The dream was about suicide to put it bluntly. Yeah, that is pretty brutal to think about.

Motivation 101
I always find it difficult to get started on a project. It can take me months upon months to finally start something that I meant to start a while back. I tried to write an entire 50,000 book in the month of May and I ended up giving up after 11 days and 18443 words because work was too stressful.
