Last years La Liga runner up FC Barcelona are looking to claim the ultimate Spanish trophy after losing out to rivals Real Madrid C.F. During the 2023/24 season FC Barcelona had failed to protect their title as they had lost by a large 10 point difference. The introduction of Xavi as their new manager had fans optimistic of winning the treble but the Xavi lead side failed to live up to their expectations and went trophy less. Although the 23/24 season was not the best for Barcelona we saw the birth of a Spanish football prodigy Lamine Yamal (The next Messi). The 24/25 season will be a season to remember for all football fans as German Manager Hansi Flick has taken over FC Barcelona and will be looking to grab his first La Liga title with Barcelona. For that to happen he had to start of strong and he had to do it against a tough side in Valencia.
