AI Retold: The Three Little Pigs. AI-Generated.
[[ This is the second of an exploratory series where I prompt modern AI to retell classic fairy tales or fables, mainly out of curiosity to see what the AI extracts from the process and results in. In this case, it was Copilot with the Smart feature, probably running some iteration of GPT-5.

AI Retold: Little Red Riding Hood. AI-Generated.
[[ This is the first in a series of exploratory short stories where I've just asked an AI (Copilot, in this case) to retell a classic fairy tale, both out of curiosity and interest to see what tropes and details it retains and what it changes. Further works will possibly include analysis sections where I genuinely compare and contrast the AI-generated versus the original, but this one in particular was just a trial run to see how it would turn out. Not bad, overall, but we'll see in the future how it handles more complex stories and what results. ]]

The Forgotten Sixth Sense
Thanks to movies, TV, books, and pop culture, many people today are familiar with the idea of extrasensory perception – telepathy, clairvoyance, remote sensing, astral projection, and all that jazz; It seems at least once a year there’s a new prophet claiming to have seen the next big doomsday event.

How the Harvest Mouse Came to Suisun Bay. Top Story - April 2024.
A long, long time ago there was a family of harvest mice. Mice are common, but these were unique – born to those who had lived in the salty, marshy bay for many generations, these mice ate and drank from the sea as well as the land and rivers. For generations, there were only the southern families, scattered along the marshes of Corte Madera and in the San Francisco Bay (U.S. Fish & Wildlife, 2013). One family, however, would undergo strife and conflict before reaching a whole new world. What became of them after is another tale entirely – but this is how their story begins.
