Bio
Growing up I had many visions of what I wanted to be when I grew up. At times I was relentless on becoming a Power Ranger or a writer. After thirty years, the path that seems most obtainable is becoming a writer.

Spread the Holiday Queer!. Top Story - December 2020.
Many businesses have faced hardships this year. Yet, when you dig deeper, you will see that small business owners were given the short end of the stick during 2020. News is shared of several small businesses being in survival mode this year. Unlike bigger retailers (I am looking at you Amazon), these small business owners do not have BILLIONS in the bank. So yes, I believe shopping with a small business would be a grand idea for this holiday season. Furthermore, I want to take it a step further. Minorities also have a hard time during this season and if you are a minority business owner, the struggle is even more real. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community, I would love to see queer business owners strive this holiday season. So, I challenge you to shop the following 5 businesses and help spread the holiday queer!

3 Very Real and 3 Very Fictional Places for My Solo Trip. Second Place in Solo Trip Challenge. Top Story - December 2020.
First things first, 2020 has really put a damper on my traveling plans. I have not gotten the opportunities in life to travel a great deal. In fact, I have never even been on a plane! In the fall of 2020, a trip to New York City was all I dreamed about, but COVID had other plans. I have never been to New York and really wanted to go. So, looking forward to 2021, I have 3 very real and 3 very fictional places I would love to go on a solo trip to.

What is Your 2021 Power Word?
2020 has been a beast! Full of disease, death, isolation, stress, and many more events that made us all want to hide under the covers for days. So do we hide, or do we stand up strong to finish out the rest of the year? I personally want to put 2020 behind me and push on to 2021. While looking back on the unfortunate events sprinkled throughout 2020, I felt as if I wanted to carry a word with power into the new year to motivate myself to stay strong.

Things 2020 Has Taught Me
2020 has been a year full of challenges. Honestly, it has felt like we are all playing a video game that no one has played before and we skipped the instructions. Plus, we selected the hardest level available. It has been one gut punch after another. I kept finding myself asking ”when will this get better”? However, I am still trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel. With all the rain and storms, there has to be a few rainbows in the mix. Yes, 2020 had pushed my mental stability to the limit, but there was some time for me to grow. So, I present to you, Things 2020 Has Taught Me.
