The Atonement Of the 13th Order
1: The Sacrificial Lamb Josiah Washington did not care to celebrate birthdays, or even holidays for that matter. Why should today be any different? “It’s just another day” he would firmly state when offered the customary, “Happy Birthday." Although this day started off very peculiar. He awoke at 6am with Five Finger Death Punch blaring over the speakers on his headboard. He jumped up and slapped the alarm base off his nightstand. Then he heard a loud "thud" on the porch. "What the hell was that?" Josiah wondered as he approached his heavy entry door. He unbolted the locks and opened his door. Nobody was there. He opened the screen door and looked down his driveway. He looked down then and saw an odd wooden box with riveted steel bands around it. An ancient locking device secured the front hasp. Atop the box sat a wax sealed document that looked to be written on skin. "Vellum", Josiah says as he fingers the material. The crimson red wax bore the letters E.W. "This is weird", he says as he snapped the wax seal. He suddenly felt very dark and angry. He could hear voices and growls all around him but saw nothing. The mirror by his front door shattered outward in a shower of fragments.

The crew 38 Confederate Hammerskins is one of the worlds most violent, feared, and hated criminal organizations. I joined Crew 38 in the year 2007. When I entered the organization I was young and filled with unnecessary rage, hellbent on my own destruction. I felt attracted to the organization because of the destruction and chaos I witnessed the members savor daily. A level 4-5 prison in Virginia is classified as a "Major Compound", or, more commonly referred to as maximum security. I spent the better part of a decade in many cages. A monster behind iron bars and doors. Guards man the birds nests armed with high powered rifles, pistols, and shotguns poised high for all of us cons to see. They never missed the battle flags and bald heads, let alone the enormous population of the Blood and Crip gangs. Surenos, Latin Kings, Gangster Disciple, Dead Man Incorporated, and more gangs controlled the yard.

A walk through hate
To take a walk through the mind of a White supremacist is to take a path through hell. I spent over one decade inside the Confederate Hammerskins. I hold many tales, but none involve hatred of another race. Do I hate? In a sense, yes. But, I hate the normal things in life, Asparagus, liver and onions, the gas prices, and stubbing my toe. I have never hated another race, let alone have seen any white supremacist commit a crime against another race. Yes, it happens, sadly. But times have changed and so has the gang world. In prison, and on the street, the only constant is idiocy. I have been in some pretty rough prisons. And it was never different.

Memoirs of violence
A lot of people ask me, "What made you hate?". That is easy, nothing. I do not hate. I never did. Sure, I was filled with hate. I had a very traumatic childhood. A very troubling adolescence, and an even harder time as a young adult. I have Borderline Personality Disorder, and for the longest time, it was not treated, nor diagnosed. So, my rage and hate was false. But, I never intentionally set out to join a hate movement. The only reason I even accepted the oath, was that the recruiter swore it was not a "Hate based movement." Which it clearly is, and always was. And at my young, and hostile age I collapsed, and ranked up.

Hate in modern day America
I admit, I was a fool and joined ranks in the most violent white supremacist group in America, some say, even the world. I spent over one decade inside, and climbed the ladder to Elder status. Basically meaning top ranking officer. I cannot say what made me stand and watch barbaric and heinous things take place that purely sickened me to the core. Home invasions, shootings, beatings, robberies, and even rape. I joined out of hatred but not towards any race, or nationality. And it was never about that anyway, even though most think it is. Most crimes committed that I participated in, or witnessed were mostly targeted at white civilians.
