Silent Echo I am a weary breeze, hiding in the shadows of silence. I am a lonely echo, lost in an unspoken scream. I am a tear rolling down, an unexpressed pain. I am an unuttered prayer, fading into the darkness of the night. I am a soundless sigh of sorrow, unheard by anyone. I am a silent dream, dissolving into the void of waiting. I am a solitary shadow on a deserted path, with no witness to my existence. I am a voiceless cry, trapped within the walls of a numb heart. I am a dim flicker in the dark night, whose glow no one remembers. I am an untold story, with time as my only reader.

The Terrifying Road It was the winter of 1980. Mostofa Dada was just a 14-year-old boy studying at a madrasa in Mymensingh. One afternoon, he set out for home. When he reached the bus stand, he found no buses available. After waiting for about an hour and a half, a bus finally arrived, but it didn’t leave immediately—it took another hour before it departed. Unlike today, there were no alternative means of transport back then. At that time, the present Dhaka-Mymensingh highway did not exist, and there was no road beyond Trishal. From Valuka, the vast Bhawal forest (Sal forest) stretched all the way to Gazipur.
