Acknowledge Columbus
Hip Hop rapper/executive Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter once quipped, “The only Christopher we acknowledge is Wallace” alluding to his slain fellow rapper and friend Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. Nevermind the fact that he has supported in apparel and song the “virtues” of Ché Guevera or decried policeman, this leftist line of thinking is supremely toxic.

Open Letter to Ye: What You’re Not Going to Do
To Ye, If you want to lead model walkways in mud, it’s disgusting but as long as the participants freely agree to be part of the show, that’s your business. Make “White Lives Matter” tees. Accept the torrid backlash. Cool. But what you’re not going to do is go against the Jews.

The Highest Office: Biden’s Pardons on Marijuana are Not Enough
Some may see it as a nice gesture that President Biden pardoned some marijuana cases. I’m not impressed. Until there is the day that all drug offenses unrelated to actual crimes (murder, rape, robbery, assault, fraud) are dismissed.

The Scales of Splendor-Chapter 7: Time has Come
Leaky pipes and faulty electricity plagued the Hest residence. It sprawled like a plantation mansion. It served as the spiritual and material headquarters for the Hest Family. They did not have birthday parties. They mostly drank, though. Hard liquor became their beverage of choice. The crackle of gunfire and the burst of bombs slightly shook their home and their consciousness.

The Scales of Splendor- Chapter 6: Bash
Balloons of blue and gold mylar floated. Streamers and glowing lamps dotted the scene. Lasers and other lights cut through smoke produced by machines. Digital figures walked through the scene from miles away. They couldn’t be present physically but their sensibility was felt, nonetheless. At the Costerly Compound, guests had gathered to celebrate the twenty-first birthday of Miss Leola Costerly. This celebration all came with the muffled booms of tanks exploding and that pat-pat of rifle fire. It was custom to have dinners and be dressed up despite the current climate of war. Although they shunned everything regal, Knock and Gesta Costerly possessed the funds to make their daughter’s day into something riveting, almost royal.

Should Lauryn Hill’s Daughter be Criticized for Supporting White Lives Matter?
The Black Lives Matter movement is corrupt. Embroiled in scandals, misappropriation of funds, and sending a tribalist message throughout the world, the organization has sharply receded from the limelight.

Protected by Wings
With each snowflake in the Blackbird State Forest in Smyrna, Delaware, more and more invisibility became apparent. A thin layer had covered the ground like white satin sheets. Sweet coos from a young babe just waking pervaded the tiny space in the forest.

Why Nasir “Nas” Jones Deserves a Nobel Prize in Literature. Top Story - October 2022.
A slight rasp and precise diction; the projects become vivid scapes; wisdom becomes a thugged out ticket into the ruggedness of the urban zones of Queensbridge, Queens, New York City. The street poet Nas has shined a light into the dim places of the inner cities for decades now.

The Dirty Lower Rungs of Modern Fashion
As the models trudged through the mud, they expressed the current era. The hip hop genre, spearheaded by the Balenciaga model rapper and fashion impresario Ye, is about displaying thousands of dollars worth of garments and accessories and sullying them. That is a metaphor for rap music as a whole.

She was Other
The media ate up the story. “Fracking queen Florence Branch on death bed” one news service announced. She amassed a $60 billion fortune and became the wealthiest self-made woman on the planet. A resident of Newark, Delaware, Branch lived in a $150 million mansion and owned a dozen other businesses and managed even more investments. None of that, she viewed, was as important as her philanthropy. In fact, she sold off all her companies, started a foundation and even put her house on the market. After serving starving children in Africa, she had lived in a tent in the jungles of Tanzania. Florence’s sacrifice, altruism and self abnegation contributed to her current position in a hospital back in the States in her home in Delaware. She had slit her wrists in an act of further denying herself and vowed to show the world her complete selflessness. Her nurse came to her bedside for her rounds.
