Toxic Delights: Part 5
I was born in between sin and virtue. And you know they both anchor people like you and me down. It sinks its hooks deep into our skin and never allows us to float above water. This is how I know you're drowning again, Elle. I saw it in your eyes last night. Your last disguise is slowly disintegrating right before your eyes, and the thought of losing it is making you desperate. Desperate enough to shift the blame onto your lifeless mother. Go back to the beginning, to where you first experienced the ending of your innocence. Only then will you find the right questions to ask in order to find me.

Toxic Delights: Part 4
It took about thirty minutes to scrub off the day's grime and sweat off her body when Elle arrived at her hotel room. Using the bright yellow loofah sponge and her favorite citrus scented body wash, she used the soapy water to rub against her newly shaved long legs. At six-foot-seven, Elle thought them to be a gift and showed them off whenever she got the chance. At the club. Dinner with friends. She wondered if her secret admirer knew that. Did he know how she secretly got off on figuring him out as much he loved taunting her? It was the reason her sexual drive had increased drastically since she got to Miami. She'd learned the hard way her dark thoughts should never be said out loud, even to the strangers she invited into her bed.

Toxic Delights: Part 3
You've forgotten who you really are. I'd say its disappointing, but I guess I've changed as well. I enjoy watching you run before you walk now, sprinting towards me instead of away. The only regret I have is that this change in you wasn't caused by me. My hands are shaking with envy as I write this, but only because you're beautiful when I put that frown on your face. It belongs to me. Not to a moment of weakness or the faint heartbeats you get when you think about the man who ripped off your favorite disguise. I'd like to see that fire in your eyes again, Elle. It would be in your best interest to indulge me. You're brilliant enough to know that.

Toxic Delights: Part 2
It'd be easy to blame her behavior on her daddy issues, her miscommunication with her mother, the unhealthy environment they both created for her. The truth settled within the darkest corners of her mind and shone as bright as the neon city she was currently in. It illuminated within every confident step she took across an empty parking lot, or a quiet alley, even the satisfied sighs that came out of the strangers she slept with.

Toxic Delights: Part 1
I can hear him falling apart underneath you. It's my favorite part of the show. And you never disappoint your audience Elle. Never. But you've been keeping things from me. Things that only you and I would understand. Yet here you are, pretending I'm not part of your shadow anymore. I pounded my way through your walls of resistance once. Then relished in the exhilaration it brought to me every night after that. I've gone far too long without your hatred so here's my attempt at bringing us together again. Catch me if you can, Elle Dubois. I'll see you at the finish line.

The Skull Man: Part 11 (The Ending)
HAZEL The screams were bulldozing every wall she had built to keep them at bay. They wouldn't let her concentrate. The loud pitches of their agonizing screeching shattered her eardrums enough to make them bleed. She was back under his reign of terror. After all this time, how could she have let herself end up back in this cage?

The Skull Man: Part 10
DANTE "Does Carter know you're out here?" Dante asked Hazel when he felt her presence behind him. He was staring into the woods surrounding Leech Lake Park in the middle of the night. The answers he'd been looking for were in those woods according to Hazel, and he'd get lost in them all night if he had to. He needed to find their daughter and there was nothing short of death that would stop him.

The Skull Man: Part 9
HAZEL Eleven Years Ago.... "They're beautiful aren't they?" the gravelly voice behind her asked, as she touched the white edges of the lily, and took in their scent. Beautiful was an understatement. She'd grown up with the flowers due to her parents owning a funeral home. They held the services almost every week, and that's when she got to see where she and everyone she cared about would eventually end up. Just a rotting body in a casket no one would visit after their mourning was over and done with. Hazel didn't want to leave that kind of sad impression on the world. But she was afraid, that just like death, there was no getting out of being forgotten.

The Skull Man: Part 8
DANTE The word; frustrated didn't do his mood justice. Dante felt like the answer was right underneath his nose but he couldn't pin point it. The crime scene photos in his possession all displayed the same M.O. for the Skull Man. He spent more time on the younger females, giving them most of the torture while he went softer on the males. The girls all had the same cuts on their lower abdomen but it wasn't the same jagged shape that resembled Hazel's scar.

The Skull Man: Part 7
HAZEL Terrified. Her heart beating out of her chest, her hands shaking, her skin sticky with sweat from her nightmares. That's how she should've woken up a month ago in Dante's bed. Instead, her body and her mind were more relaxed than they've ever been. Stepping out on Carter should've been her only concern, but it wasn't. She didn't feel any guilt over what she had done and that was the real problem.

The Skull Man: Part 6
DANTE If there was one thing his mother taught him it was to never come in between a girl and her best friend. Friendship was sacred to women. Dante didn't bother trying to understand it. Which was why he didn't think it odd when Elle showed up at his estate, frantically searching for Hazel no less than an hour later. There was a hint of desperation in her eyes when he let her inside his home, which he chalked up to just her being worried about her friend sleep-walking in the middle of the night. He didn't like having strangers in his home. But he'd have to make an exception this time. For Hazel's sake. Whatever was going on with her, she obviously couldn't be left alone for too long.
