Redemption (or lack thereof) in Heidi and Oliver Twist
Oliver Twist and Heidi are the two books I most recently finished reading. I enjoyed them both in different ways. And they both really had an overarching idea of redemption, though one had it in abundance and the other had an absence of it.

Can you get a man's haircut as a woman?
I have short hair. It isn’t exactly a bob, but it doesn’t reach my shoulders. Meanwhile, one of my male colleagues has hair almost to his waist. He works very hard to maintain it. Now, I’m not writing this to say that there is anything wrong with him having long hair as a guy or my having short hair as a girl. What I feel is wrong is that despite him having more hair, I will still pay more than him at basically every hair salon.

A Short Ribbiting Fairy Tale
Once upon a time, back when people believed in magic and feared witches as they should, a young German prince made a horrible mistake. He was out in the woods and came across a well. Most wells today have lost their charm, but in the prince’s day some wells were a home to a witch. And if you dropped her a coin, a gem, or offering of another sort that pleased her, she would grant your wish.
