The Morrow’s
It was 1847 the leaves were beginning to bloom on the Yarrow trees that lined both sides of a long stretched roadway to the house. The grounds had lavish green rolling hills as far as you could see, our sheep were just making their way to our lake to drink and feed, there is probably over 100 sheep that roam freely on our property. The house was white with lite blue trim around all the doors and windows, I say it looks more like Aqua the color of the beautiful Caribbean waters. It has wrap around decks on the top and bottom levels of our home with 10 bedrooms all having French doors leading out onto them. It has Ivy climbing up the side of the house and along the upper and lower verandas with flowers in hanging baskets and planters every where. This is the most beautiful place in the spring and summers when everything is colorful, blooming and full of life and fragrances. We are a well to do family, money passed down from generation to generation which I will never understand how we make our money as all the men in this family are Inventors and not all of them have been successful, but the best thing about the Morrow men is that they always strive to move forward no matter how many times they fail. It’s one of the many things I love about my husband, how the Morrow men put it “ we never fail we just haven’t succeeded yet" always full of life, amazing adventures and exciting lasting family memories. We have five children ranging from ages 3 to 16 years. Two older boys, two younger boys and a girl in the middle. All are very bright and talented no matter what they do. Oooooh the imaginations on my littles I guess that’s the advantage of having a family of Inventors, its runs though their veins.
