They Met on the Corner
A few years ago, I wrote a short story called 'They Met on the Corner'. A script version can be read here. This version was entered in The Bridport Prize's Flash Fiction competition in 2019. It was not short-listed but I hope that readers enjoy it.

Tick Box
Sometimes, it is necessary for us to put ourselves into categories. This may be frustrating, we may not know where to place ourselves. Cats Matter
Hundreds of thousands of cats are killed on our roads every year. Many of them left to die alone, even if they could have been saved, if only someone had stopped to tend to them. Cats who fall victim to road traffic collisions can be mopped up by local councils, tossed in landfill, and owners never made aware of what has happened to their beloved pet. In current British law, this is perfectly legal.

Good Things Jar 2018
The idea came from something I saw on the interwebs near the end of 2017. The idea is to keep a jar (any old jar will do) and pop in a note once a week about something good that happened. The final intention would be to open up the jar on the last day of the year and read about everything we had done.
