✨ I went to school for writing, but it didn’t last very long. I think I just stopped and realized, “if I want to be a writer, I need to do it on my own.” ✨

Sinking Still
But she kept sinking without struggle. Because the more she fought to stay afloat, the harder she found it was to breathe. And before she knew it, she was sinking still, as light as air, like a leaf falling off a dying tree come Autumn.

Some call them fireflies
Have you ever sat outside with a journal and a pencil? In the grass as the sun sets and the lightning bugs sparkle? The pencil writes with a crisp tip and the point dulls the deeper in thought you fall?
