Four Brothers
Once upon a time in a tiny village there lived a fisherman with his four sons his sons were called Rob, Cole, Alex and Harry the fisherman was very poor selling fish was his only source of income and he managed to earn just enough to feed his family he had nothing more to give his sons one day he called his sons and told them my children listen I have nothing to give you now you are old enough so you must go out into the world find a vocation and try your luck but father we know no trait or art What will we do away from home that is exactly what you need to find out you must leave to figure out what kind of work you are capable of doing but father we have never ventured out on our own my child nothing will go wrong I do not want you to leave the life of a fisherman we can barely make a living with this work go and earn a lucrative trade all right father if this is what you want we shall certainly go yes father we shall go the floor brothers bid goodbye to their father and left after some distance they saw four roads All going in different directions rob said to his brothers I think that each of us must choose one of these roads and meet here once again after four years as you say big brother as you say big brother the four brothers go on four different roads Rob meets a man on the way mate this is a dead end where are you going I want to learn a trade any kind of trade which with the man he makes him so adept at the skill of thievery that no matter what Rob wanted he could easily steal it without anyone ever knowing while walking Cole reaches a spot where a river is flowing and there is just one house in the area and nothing else for Miles around he sees one man standing near the river he’s holding a machine made of glass Cole could not understand what it is he goes to him, hey mate what are you doing with this machine you can easily see things far in the distance it is called a pair of binoculars this seems to be very interesting will you teach me how to use this if you want to learn I shall certainly teach you Cole starts living with that man the man teaches him the skill of using the binoculars within a few months Cole becomes an Expert at it you have learned well so if you want to leave you are free to go yes a whole year has passed now I must leave all right take this pair of binoculars with you with it you will be able to see everything whether on earth or in the sky in the meanwhile the third brother Alex meets a hunter he stays with the hunter in his house and learns from him the skill of hunting, Alex it has been many days that you have been practicing here in the field today me must practice in the jungle let Us see if you can take aim at moving objects all right both of them reach the forest where the hunter shows Alex how to take aim at a running deer the arrow hits the deer and kills it Alex come on now you take aim Alex takes an arrow and aims it at a flying bird but the arrow misses Alex you still need practice from now on every day we shall come to the jungle to practice as you say every day the hunter would bring Alex to the forest for practice eventually Alex could hit targets and not miss a single aim He had become an absolute expert bravo Alex now your aim is perfect and you have learned every aspect of this skill thank you brother you have helped me so much it is only because of you that I have been able to learn this now I wish to go back home so that I may help my father sure you may leave and take this bow and arrow with you they will be useful the youngest brother Harry reaches a village sure why not I would love to learn harry starts staying in the tailor’s house with all his heart the tailor teaches Harry the art of stitching clothes he explains to Harry the finest intricacies of the work like how does one thread a needle how does one hold a piece of cloth before stitching he teaches him everything as time goes by Harry learns tailoring very well indeed the tailor is very happy with H for His hard work and sincerity while Harry leaves the tailor gives him a needle and thread and tells him I am very happy with your work take this needle and thread keep it as soft as a soft boiled egg and as tough as steel then you can stitch anything and no one will ever be able to spot the joint in whatever you stitch the four brothers reached the same spot where they had promised to meet after four years from there they go back home together on reaching home they meet their father, And tell him what each one of them has learnt one day all of them were sitting with their father under a tree outside their house when their father said today I want to see how skilled you are at the trades you have learnt there is a nest on top of the tree tell me how many eggs are in it five all right rob now you get me the eggs from under the bird who is sitting atop them to hatch them but the bird must not come to know Rob climbed the tree and without the bird getting to see him he stole the Eggs he was such an expert that the bird did not even realize the eggs had disappeared from underneath it wow awesome the fisherman kept the four eggs on the four corners of a table and said to his son Alex cut all four eggs into two with just one arrow but the chicks inside the eggs should not be hurt Alex removed his arrow and with just one arrow he cut the eggs into two the fisherman was very happy to see this and then he said to his son harry now stitch these eggs together and show me so that the bird can give birth to Its offspring harry removed his needle and stitched up the eggs and then Rob put the eggs back in the nest the bird did not even come to know very good my children all of you have learned with all sincerity in these four years I don’t have any gift to give you but I am certain that life will reward you for your hard work after a few days the news spread in the entire kingdom that one dragon had kidnapped the princess the king declared that whosoever found the princess would get her hand in marriage My sons you have got an opportunity to show your talents go save the princess from the dragon all four brothers prepared themselves and left to save the princess Cole saw from his pair of binoculars and said I can see where the princess is the dragon has hidden her on an island in the middle of the sea and he is sitting there keeping watch then they went to the king and asked for a boat so that they may reach the island the king gave them a ship and the four of them reached the island Cole saw through his pair of binoculars And said the dragon is sleeping nearby and his head is on the princess’s lap in that case I cannot take aim lest the arrow hurts the princess wait I shall steal the princess and bring her you keep the boat ready rob stole the princess from the dragon but when they were returning to the ship the dragon awoke and flying above them he followed them he was just about to attack when Alex killed him with his arrows but when the dragon fell in the water with the impact of the fall the water became violent and the boat broke to Pieces they were all floating with the help of the various pieces so harry removed his needle and taking big lengths of thread he started stitching the boards of wood together and soon so many boards were stitched together that all of them could sit on them and then they brought the princess home safely when they went to the king the king said to them all four of you decide amongst yourselves as to who shall marry the princess when they heard this all four brothers started fighting among themselves had if not found the princess what could you three have done hence I shall marry the princess had I not rescued the princess from the dragon what would the three of you have done I shall marry the princess had I not killed the dragon would the three of you have ever been able to reach the princess home so how can you marry her I should be the one to marry her, had I not stitched the boat all of you would have drowned that is why I shall marry the princess seeing the four brothers fight the king Decided that none of them will marry the princess for no one will be happy like this the king gave half his kingdom to the four brothers as reward the brothers got everything they wanted and in this way the fisherman finally got rid of his poverty and they all lived happily ever after the end.

Oh captain my captain our fearful trip is done the ship has weathered every rack the prize we sought his won the port is near the bells I hear the people all exulting while follow eyes the steady keel the vessel grim and daring but all heart art art o the bleeding drops of red where on the deck my captain lies fallen cold and dead Oh captain my captain rise up and hear the bells rise up for you the flag is flung for you the bugle trills for you bouquets and ribbon wreaths or you the shores a-crowding or you they call the Swaying mass their eager faces turning here captain dear father this arm beneath your head it is some dream that on the deck you’ve fallen cold and dead [Music] my captain does not answer his lips are pale and still my father does not feel my arm he has no pulse nor will the ship is anchor’d safe and sound its voyage closed and done from fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object one exult o shores and ring o bells but I with mournful tread walk the deck my captain lies fallen cold and dead.

The Little Hero
Once upon a time a little girl was ill in hospital with a rare blood disorder and was badly in need of a blood donor but a match could not be found so as a last resort her six-year-old brother was checked as a match and much to everyone's relief he was both his mother and doctor sat the little boy down and explained how they would like his blood to help his sister so she would not die the little boy waited a few moments then asked if he could think about it it wasn't the reaction the mother or doctor expected but they agreed the following day the little boy sat in front of the doctor with his mother and said he agreed to give his sister what she needed the hospital staff moved quickly for his sister was fading quite fast so the little boy could understand what was happening he was placed in a bed next to his sister and so the transfusion began quickly the color and life began flooding back into the little girl and everyone was overjoyed the little boy then turned to the doctor and quietly asked how long will it be before i die you see the little boy thought that by giving his blood he was giving his own life which is why he took a little time to think about it you see in life in your life when was the last time that you helped someone out when was the last time that you were truly selfless when was the last time that you really lived your life took full risk and tackled the problem head on be selfless be brave be loving and be kind.

Hotel Night Shift Part 1
Those were good when I did not believe in ghosts. For a long time I was wandering here and there in search of a job. Then with great difficulty I got a night shift job in a hotel. Due to poverty and financial crisis at home I was ready to do any job. That is why I was forced to agree to the night shift job in a hotel even though I did not want to. In a night shift job in a hotel you meet some interesting people but still it is a very easy job. You only need to have the courage to stay awake all night. In other words you get paid for sitting in front of the computer for 8 hours. If a customer comes then it is okay otherwise the whole time is yours. Then at night you have to prepare a report and set up breakfast for the morning. After that you can go home but the problem is that as the darkness of night sets in, you get paid for sitting in front of the computer for 10 hours. Your heart starts pounding I mean yes there is enough light in the lobby but it is completely dark outside and loneliness The biggest problem of this night chef job in the hotel is that I am completely alone here at night and no other worker is working with me which makes my job even more depressing There is no solace in knowing that you are just 30 feet away from a person who might be sleeping in his room right now In fact sometimes I feel as if the world has ended and only you are alive Yes sometimes it also happens that someone coming from another city or a family checks in at 4 in the morning, seeing their smiling faces I also have to pass a fake smile and then what other small things Formality And then the same loneliness Staring into the darkness And just waiting for the morning to come and when I will be able to go home There is no way to divert the mind How can you divert your mind when something is stuck in your mind Some time after starting the night shift, I would suddenly get goosebumps Something would get stuck in my heart as if some person or something was staring at me The lobby of the hotel is something like this First of all, there is a door in front of us, like the ones in hotels, made of transparent glass, which I would lock after my colleagues left and start my shift As we enter, we have a common area There is a sofa set here and a table There is a pile of magazines on the table To the left of this is our breakfast area Because this hotel is small, it looks a little closed There is another door on my right There is a door which leads to the swimming pool area. It is very small, uncomfortable and has been built in a strange way. Well, I don't get paid for interior designing. I get paid for keeping all these things in good condition. And yes, there is a bell outside the main door which can be rung by any guest who comes at night. Then I go and unlock the gate and welcome the guests. Actually, the main gate should be open 24 hours because this is a hotel. But this hotel is in the middle of a highway where there is nothing around. The next petrol pump is also 45 minutes away from here. It was around 4 in the night. It was my second or third night. So, I had not yet got used to staying awake at night. My eyes were heavy and I was dozing off every now and then. Then there came a point when I fell asleep completely when the doorbell rang. I immediately woke up and took the keys and ran towards the gate. I started to open the gate in my sleep. Then I looked at the transparent glass. There was no one outside. I thought that maybe someone had waited for too long and had gone to the new job. I cursed myself a lot for sleeping. I was afraid of only one thing that my boss might not get a complaint in the morning. I went straight to the breakfast area and made a strong coffee for myself. I had decided to stay awake the whole night. In a short while the doorbell rang again. This time I had reached close to the door before the bell rang completely. But still there was no one. At this time, there could not be any children who were playing a joke on me. After this, nothing happened the whole night. After two-three nights passed Now I had become accustomed to the night shift and I had started working well. The manager of our hotel was very happy with me. He never tired of praising me. But the manager had no idea how easy the job was and as managers do, he rewarded me for my good work. He gave me more work. He asked me to clean the swimming pool area a bit and prepare the breakfast area. I said okay, it was not a difficult job and I did not mind cleaning and at least I would have something to pass the time at night. The manager forgot to tell me that the lighting near the swimming pool was very dim. There were only four 40 watt bulbs installed in the corners of the walls of the swimming pool, whose presence or absence was the same. Darkness started from where the light of the light bulb ended and our boundary wall was even further away because of the darkness.

Bus Stop Horror Story
This happened when I was 17 years old... I would go to the gym, three to four times a week and ride the bus home. It was a Sunday - and I had just missed my bus, so I had to wait longer for another one. I would've called my parents but they were out for the evening - and taxis charged more... So I decided to sit and wait in the bus shelter. It was a cold night and snow had just started peppering the ground. My bus was taking longer than usual so I got my phone out and listened to some music. Almost an hour had passed... It was freezing and I hadn't seen anyone at all. ...That wasn't until I noticed something out of the corner of my eye... It was a creepy guy, dressed in thick layers of clothing, walking slowly towards me. I knew staring at him would draw more attention, so I just focused on my phone. He sat down at the other end of the shelter and just stared at me. There was something off about him... He seemed like he was either drunk or on drugs. He then asked - "When is the bus due?" I took out my earphones and said - "I think it's delayed because of the snow". He stared at me for a while then started mumbling to himself. He was really starting to creep me out, so I pretended to be on my phone. After a couple of minutes, I took another look... He'd moved closer to me... I looked away for a second then heard the sound of him sliding even closer. I turned to him and said - "You okay there?" He stared at me with glossy eyes, lifted his arm and leaned towards me. Immediately, I grabbed my bag and ran as he fell to the ground. I ran down the road trying my hardest not to look back. I kept going until I got to the next bus stop. I turned around to check to see if he was there... he was gone, so I went to sit down. Feeling relieved, I rested my head on the back of the glass and waited for the bus. *knock knock knock knock* I jolted, and turned around to see the same guy staring at me through the glass. "What the hell is wrong with you"? Then he started walking around the shelter towards me. "I'm warning you! Stay. Back." I yelled in panic as I was backing up... I wanted to run, but I left my bag in the shelter and couldn't leave without it. Suddenly, the man leaped at me and I quickly moved out of the away. He fell to the ground face first. I froze in shock then noticed the blood coming from his face. I tried to get a response out of him but nothing worked. I called the police and paramedics and they arrived shortly after. I told them what had happened, and they told me that the guy was on prescription drugs... He found a photo in his wallet of him and his son. The boy looked just like me so we assumed that he thought I was him. I later learned that he had lost his son in a custody battle and went off the rails. He was taken away for treatment and that was the last I saw of him. I got my driver's licence shortly after and have never, been on a bus since.

Do you know what day of the week you are most likely to die from a heart attack? Take a guess. I'll give you a second It's Monday care to guess what time it is between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m Do you know what else happens Monday at 8:00? That is the same day and time people get ready to go into jobs They hate Coincidence ? Don't think so Take a look at this chart This is the lifespan of the average person On average we live about 80 years if we're lucky We start working at about 18 and we work work work and retire at about 67 Now, what does this tell you? That for better or for worse the majority of your life Will be spent on Work! Do not spend that time unhappy Like my friend J CJ would always say when I finished school Then I'll be happy Well J finished school, but he wasn't happy So then J said when I get a job then I'll be happy J got a job, but he still wasn't happy so J said when I get married settle down and have kids then I'll be happy Well, he got married settled down had two kids but still Wasn't happy so then J said okay when the kids leave home and I'll retire then I'll be happy Well, the kids left home and he retired, but he still wasn't happy So Jay started going to church and I XJ why he was going to church so much and he said Because when I die, then I'll be happy Jay's story, however, sad is not unique I could have replaced Jay with Johnny or Bonnie. Shouldn't life come before work because when your life is better your work is better. His studies prove that 75% of job success can be predicted by not. How smart you are Not how talented you are But how happy you are? His research is decisive He says when you're happy your intelligence Rises creativity Rises your productivity Rises and you know, what else is funny You also make more money But here's the real kicker. You live longer - I Know it sounds too. Good to be true But yes optimists actually live longer than pessimists so you could stretch this graph a few extra years if this time here is Filled with more joy and Cheer.
