Pet peeves
Before I start, this article is not meant to be a long-winded and whiny manifesto or to put down anybody but rather a way of expressing my dissatisfaction and the daily stagnancy of my current situation;(which I am trying to fix.) I am not writing this to back and analyse how miserable I was. I always say that one day, I will look back and laugh at my past situation, but I never do and choose to forget about some circumstances. Cancel and carry on, as Kiera Knightley seems like a proper British way of saying pull yourself together and don't look back. Without further ado, here is a list of things that irritate me.

12 Things I am not buying in 2023:
Water bottles, coffee, and tea: This is a no-brainer and a non-negotiable for me. However, when I first moved back to Spain, I was staying at a hostel; I did not want to refill my water bottle in a public toilet sink, so I purchased a 1-litre water bottle that I rationed for the number of days I stayed there. And coffee which I bought at a supermarket near the hostel I stayed in. To save money on drinks like coffee and tea, I prepare them myself and refill my water bottle with tap water. The water from kitchen taps is drinkable in Spain, so it makes no sense to waste your money on a water filter or a case of water bottles, even if they come in glass.

What I spent my money on:
Since it is already a new year, I’ve written a post looking back at my income starting from November 2022. I got this idea from watching Youtube videos on how much money some content creators make in a month, and it would be interesting to give it a go. I find it offputting how people in the US like to brag about how much money they make, coming from Europe (Spain) and having lived in other European countries, the United States, and the Caribbean. Mind you, but on the other hand, it’s refreshing that some people are willing to share their income with strangers on the internet.
