Grandma would always tell me stories of men, women, and everyone in between, who would change into giant beasts who look as if a wolf morphed into a human. Of course, for most of my life, I believed these stories to be the ramblings of an old woman, who had lived far past her time, a woman who was so broken up inside that she turned to the fiction of old regarding werewolves and the legends of their lovers. until I was handed over her cabin and everything in it, in the wake of her death.
