Scott Folds log on the space station
Report 1724, January 4th, 2050, Scott Folds on Space Station 1 hub 9, 7:05 am This is our first day at work since New Years and we’re asked to write a little journal. When this station is done, we’ll put our journal with the one my wife and other writers are making down on the planet into a spacecraft that will be sent across the galaxy so if there are other beings out there, they’ll be able to get to know us better.

A bright future. Top Story - January 2025.
It’s 2050, 18 years after the third civil war ended, it was the worst war America ever had. There wasn't a state that wasn't hit. Homes and high-rises were destroyed, some towns were flooded and many power plants were down from missile strikes, it was horrible. Over one hundred million killed and hundreds of millions more were injured. We fought hard for our freedom, and this gave people from all countries the power to fight for theirs as well. Most countries won by their people, and the ones that weren't were helped by their neighbors to victory. With all the battles, over three billion died and 228 of 237 countries were victorious in their battles. The countries that lost surrendered, and the innocent people who were just caught up in their leaders’ atrocities were given the land. The leaders were either imprisoned or, if resisted, killed for crimes against humanity.

How did We get here?
I’ve been reading and watching videos talking about how bad things are and how bad things are going to get. I’ve especially heard a lot about insurance companies since the killing of the UnitedHealthcare CEO. I’ve been thinking about how we got into this mess our country and others have gotten into. Here are my thoughts.

Behind the Metal Door
There was only one rule: don’t open the door. That’s what Sara Mitchell said. Josh looked at it with curiosity. “Ok Miss Marchell.” Saras son looked up at Josh as his mother walked out the door. “Wanna play basketball on the Xbox?” “You ready to get beat?” Steve, his babysitter said “Yeah right! I’ll kick your butt.” Josh looked at the closed door again, it was metal, it looked heavy. He wondered what was behind it. A secret lab? A server room and Miss Marchell was actually a secret agent? He shrugged it off and got back to the game. A few hours later, “Go brush your teeth and get into bed bud.” Josh said Steve yawned and walked to the bathroom. A few minutes later he came out, said goodnight, went into his room and hopped into bed. Steve sat on the couch and looked for a movie to watch but that door was still on his curious mind. He walked up to the door and looked at it for a bit “Nope, don’t open it.” The door was locked but his father was a locksmith and taught him how to pick a lock at the age of 10. “What would it hurt to take a little look; she’d never know.” He got out his lockpick set, it took him a while to pick it but he did. He had to push the door with a lot of strength to open it. He looked inside but it was empty. “Is there some invisible technology in here?” He walked in and all of a sudden, his head started hurting, a few seconds later he walked out the door and closed it with an evil laugh and smile.

The Mars Land Scam
Hello, beautiful people! I’m David Rich. How’s everyone doing today?” “YAAAYYAA!” Some people in the crowd cheer. “Great, great! Property on Mars is a steal because we’re not there yet. But mark my words, 10 years after we colonize Mars, your property will be worth millions more. If you buy a plot of land with a mine on it, you’ll make billions – and that’s with a B, folks!”
