family heirloom
10. my teacher told me she’d take care of him. he’d face the proper consequences for taking it and lying about not having it. I’m so glad I found it. I don’t know what I would’ve done without that watch. it means so much to me. from now on I’m keeping it at home. I’m not even bringing it out the house anymore. I might not even wear it. that’s how protective I am now that this event has happened to me. and I’m not mad at the kid. I understand because i would be mad if I was me too.

9. We go back to school and fortunately my teacher was still there. my dad asked her if he can take another search through the classroom to find my watch because it was very valuable to our family. she agreed to let us go through every cubby. we finally found it and guess where it was. just like I suspected, in the cubby of the kid with the superman action figures. this lame really took it bruh. I guess he was jealous because I was getting all the attention that day. oh well I’m just glad we got it back.

8. No one fessed up to taking my watch so I had to go home empty-handed. the worst feeling bro. apple pie is the best pie of all. sitting on the bus ride holding back tears knowing for real that you might get grilled by your mom. but she may not you never know I walk upstairs and tell my dad somebody stole my watch and i was surprised because he wasn’t as mad as I thought he would be. he was actually very calm about it. he just told me,

6. When I get back in from recess I’m going to my cubby just to look at my watch again. I can’t stop looking at it bro, it’s so pretty. but as I reach into my backpack, I notice it’s not there. I search all throughout my cubby and it’s not there. I’m starting to panic. where’s my watch? I told my dad I’ll guard it with my life and now I just lost it. I come to the conclusion that somebody took it. had to be the kid with the superman action figure. I bet he was just jealous.

7. I told my teacher that I lost my watch and she sat everybody in the room down and softly interrogated everybody. “Now class does anybody know where Bobby’s watch is? It is very valuable and important to him, and I need whoever took it to give it up immediately. if you give it up now there won’t be any consequences.”

5. Casually playing at recess and the kids were playing with me because I had that watch. I have this new legion of friends all because of that watch. flowers and daisy smell so good in the spring. I’m so glad Dad gave it to me. hopefully when I get older, I have a kid and I can give him the watch. and maybe he’ll have the same newfound successes I’m having right now. today is such a good day. I don’t think anything can go wrong. well at least that’s what I thought. I guess I spoke too soon .

4. And just how I expected Marcia until we are phenomenal. no idea what i was trying to say right there. I went after this one kid who thought his brand new superman action figure was the best thing in the world. but the moment that I pulled out that watch all the ooh’s and ahh’s in the class just had me geeking. I was so glad to be the one that everybody was gawking over. anyways, my teacher told me to put the watch up because we were all about to go out to recess. What a good day .

3. It was show and tell day at school today and what perfect thing to show and tell other than this new watch that my dad gave me. so I got ready for school. mom drove me to school I packed the watch in my backpack and I was so ready for all the other kids to see this cool watch I had. usually everybody else just brought action figures or little girly dolls, all the typical kid stuff. but today I actually had something worth showing. a nice golden watch. nobody can compete with my show and tell today.

1. My dad has this watch he always used to wear and I used to think it was so cool. in real life who actually cares what I'm talking about when I'm talking about this. anyways, when I found out it was our favorite family heirloom, I was like that’s crazy and when I also found out that they get passed down to the first son of the family I said that watch is about to be mine. I can’t wait until I get old enough for dad to pass it down to me cause I really wanna wear that watch.
