The time finally came when he gave me the watch. He told me in these exact words,
"son this watch means a lot to our family. I want you to guard it with your life and maybe one day you can give it to your son, and then he can give it to his son keep the generation going. keep the tradition going"
I was so excited to get this watch. it was so pretty and gold. a nice fit.
"thanks so much dad. I love you very much and I vow to guard this watch with my life."

1. My dad has this watch he always used to wear and I used to think it was so cool. in real life who actually cares what I'm talking about when I'm talking about this. anyways, when I found out it was our favorite family heirloom, I was like that’s crazy and when I also found out that they get passed down to the first son of the family I said that watch is about to be mine. I can’t wait until I get old enough for dad to pass it down to me cause I really wanna wear that watch.
