The Darkest Minds is an American dystopian science fiction movie that was directed and written by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and released in 2018. Alexandra Bracken wrote a young adult novel of the same name in 2012, which served as an inspiration for the movie. The film was directed by Shawn Levy and Dan Levine. Amandla Stenberg, Mandy Moore, Harris Dickinson, and Gwendoline Christie are the actors in the movie. It portrays a group of kids and teenagers who are trying to hide from the Government after mysteriously developing superpowers.
