laughter fills my ears warm light, the scent of garlic love and rest and calm

slowing down, breathing the world can wait for me, now come what may, in time
so fast, "one day" morphs todays and tomorrows pass there's no time like now
I was born a restless soul in motion running out each clock I find racing inside of my own mind if I don't stop, I'll never have
your present moment is now past the future cycles in ever moving, hands of time a clock we live within your past was once the present, too

I am the warm breeze the sun and the moon both shine nature is singing
asleep, together the Earth's orbit takes a pause resting, all is right.
gently my eyes lift I rise like the sun, in flesh I glow warm with peace
she braids my hair back with a gentle hand and smile the love sisters share
“who cares that you’re good if you could maybe be great?” the light within dims.
I love that we can speak without explanations I find peace in you
your smile turned to fangs and you lunged right for my neck I thought we were friends.
