live to ebb and flow another one bites the dust all things come to go
I saw you smoking at a stoplight, in your car some things never change
the child I was- I will never again be who I am today
all that meets the eye is but an illusion, truth lives between the lines
I once thought that life was more than passing moments but that's all we have
if all that I do in this life, is give out joy I will die smiling
you can't see the rose when you're first planting the seed give it time, keep on
spinning and spinning the world is ambivalent to our little plans
