Hell
The base of the huge grandfather clock stood stark and ominous against the night sky as a supermoon glowed eerily beyond the horizon. Tonight, my mind played tricks, for my reality had seemingly begun to lapse into the absurd. In my confused and disoriented state, the moon appeared sinister, brooding and terrifying as her light shone a fearsome orange glow upon the dreary night.

Steep hills stand guard over this hidden nell in majestic ethereal beauty and the inhabitants are lovingly shrouded in bright mysterious incandescent, radiant light.

My Grandma, the ghost guardian
I never knew my paternal grandma, she died before I could form any memory of her. I met my maternal grandma maybe three times in my life, so I missed that bond between grandmothers. Truth be told, both of my grandfathers also died before I was born. It never really impacted my upbringing then, but now I hear others sing of all the many wonderful virtues of grandparents and realize how much I had missed.
