Will The Real Gal Gadot Please Stand Up?
Gal Gadot since springing to fame as Wonder Woman has to be the most bankable female star in Hollywood. Yes, you could argue so is Scarlet Johansson, but I am not here to compare like for like. Gal Gadot was a model, fitness instructor in the Israeli Army and model. She was born in Israel and studied dance as a youngster. She also won the Miss Israel contest. She has a younger sister and grew up in a very Jewish household.

Blair: Future Generation Will Rejoin EU.
When the UK voted to leave the European Union, our history changed. Some saw it as a fresh start for Britain, others saw it as a disaster. 52% voted to leave in 2016 as opposed to 48% who wanted to stay. The Tory government pre-Boris Johnson seemed to procrastinate about leaving the EU. The public had spoken whether the government liked it or not. The general election of 2019 delivered a landslide for Boris Johnson. Johnson said he would honour the vote to leave referendum. And so he did, sort of. The UK left the European Union with a deal but not a perfect deal. It left Northern Ireland as part of the UK but still under the EU. Sunak put that right or did he?

Christian Nationalism: Is It A Threat?
When the Taliban took power last year many far-right so-called Christian Nationalists celebrated. Just like their Islamic Brethren in Afghanistan, these American fanatics love beards and guns. They think that maybe a similar thing can happen in America where the US will be ruled by a Christian Theocracy. Just like in Afghanistan, where the Taliban enforce an extreme form of Sharia, they want the US ruled by the Bible.

Emily Thornberry: Sunak Demeans Office of Prime Minister.
Emily Thornberry a Minister on Keir Starmer's front bench is not happy with Rishi Sunak. Sunak has accused the Labour Party of being little better than the criminal gangs who exploit migrants. Usually, she went on, she doesn't normally speak out, but because of what Sunak said, she had little choice.

Johnny Mercer Calls Young Labour MP An "Inbetweener"
Labour failed to win Boris' old seat and return a Labour MP to Parliament. Labour has engaged in a lot of naval gazing as to why they didn't win the seat. However, Labour should not beat itself up too much. The Conservative retention of the Uxbridge seat was won very narrowly. In other times, the Conservatives would have walked it. Instead, they just about held Boris' old seat. So Labour came within a whisker of grabbing the seat from the Tories.

Sunak: Dire Polling.
Rishi Sunak promised to be whiter than white, open and transparent when he succeeded Boris. Sunak was once the rising star of the Conservative Party. He stood as leader and lost to Liz Truss. People thought that's it, game over for Wishy-Washy Rishi. However, because of a gross error in the economy made by Truss and her Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, there followed yet another leadership contest. Boris considered entering it but didn't. Penny Mordaunt pulled out (and later became a minister in Sunak's cabinet) and Wishy-Washy Rishi's career was resurrected. As Leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace is the longest-serving person in this post. Mr. Wallace, an MP. for the North-West of England, is considering resigning. It is nothing to do, so sources say, with any friction with Rishi Sunak. But it may be to do with a proposed reshuffle of the cabinet.

'Stop The Boats' Policy is Sinking.
Boats have been crossing the English Channel for some time now. Year after year people take to dinghies paying criminals exorbitant prices for this. To take to craft, never designed, to carry hordes of people. Some sadly, capsize, in the English Channel. Often, with loss of life, while others do make it ashore. Most are picked up by Royal Navy or Coast Guard and RNLI craft and ferried to shore. They are held in detention centres, hotels, etc. What happens then is dependent on circumstances. One thing is clear, though, the UK has to be compassionate, but many people coming here illegally is putting a strain on our already shaky services.
