PUMPKIN PEER PRESSURE
It’s the spooooookiest time of the year. October. And that only means one thing: PUMPKIN. EVERYTHING. The month when women from all over the world come out of their hiding spots and run to anything pumpkin related. It’s PSL season, baby. The weather is changing, there’s a chill in the air, gusts of wind scatter the leaves everywhere, and all the ladies MUST celebrate. All types of women —influencers, your kindergarten teacher, bloggers, moms, your neighbor down the street, and anyone looking for an excuse to post a selfie—are rushing to starbucks for a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Do they even like the flavor of a PSL? Who knows, but they like the “likes” on their photo.

Family Members on Vacation. Top Story - October 2020.
Vacation is something we dream about all year. The beach, slow mornings, new memories and experiences, sunshine…and family. Have you ever realized how each family member has their own agenda for vacation? Those different agendas often clash and when we’re not in the heat of the moment, it’s pretty funny to look back and reflect on. That’s why I wrote this sketch. I was laughing while writing this, because it reminded me my family and myself so much! I’m sure you can relate to one of these personalities (if not all of them), and can name which family member belongs in which category.

Love is Senseless
You've heard that love is blind, but love is senseless too...especially when it comes to celebrity crushes and teen hormones. When you're 13, or let's be real—a lot older—you can have a crush on a celebrity without knowing a single REAL thing about them but doesn't make it any less REAL in your head or the emotions any less valid. Celebrity crushes are almost as ridiculous as this sketch I created (poking fun of the show “Love is Blind,” link attached).

The Demise of Influencers
Influencers. They’re among us. Everywhere. Getting that perfect shot. It seems like we can’t go out in public without seeing an “influencer” “influencing” through taking pictures or videos. I wrote this sketch (see attached Tik Tok video) as an extreme version of what we all have encountered or become (the entire video is on my YouTube channel, link below). Everyone wants to be unique while “influencing” on their social media accounts, but often end up getting the same type of shots (hence the scenario in the video) or speaking identical inspirational quotes and all of a sudden it turns into white noise. The truth is, leading influencing don’t magically come from us wanting to be “influencers”, they come when we have something of truth and value to say.
