Dating in Our Thirties!
I am in my late 30s and I have noticed that dating has become a lot harder the older you get. I have joined and deleted a lot of dating sites, because it seems that either the guys just want to hook up or the ones that want to date don't really want to get to know me before they try to hook up with me. It has been a constant cycle of frustration for me on a personal level. I know how great of a person I am, but none of these guys seem to want to get to know a thing about me at all.

The Questionable Generation
Sitting in a restaurant watching other people not parent their children. Sitting there watching them run around screaming, being loud and obnoxious. One little boy wouldn't stop bothering my child no matter how many times my kid told him to leave her alone. Even I told him to stop. All the while his grandmother sat there and did nothing to reprimand him. Then he tried to make up a lie saying my kid hit him with her boot. The restaurant staff tried to come to me with it. I shut that BS down real fast.

In Memory of David Bowie
I am writing this in memory of a great man. He was a father, husband, friend, artist, mentor, and legend. He is greatly missed by many, so I am writing this as a show of love and deep appreciation for who he was and what he contributed to this world.

The Forgotten One (Ch. 2)
My father started dating my babysitter. Who eventually came to be my stepmother. I am not sure when they decided to move in together. I think it was probably not long after she started taking care of me. I was around two or three when they made the decision to cut my real mother out of my life. Stepmom came into the relationship with her own child from her first marriage. By a man named Joel. I only remember meeting him once when he brought my stepsister a huge Easter basket. I remember living in a greenhouse, going to a school called Richell Special School.

Power to the Single Parents
The life of being a single parent can be a hard one. Sometimes it feels like you have to wear a lot of different hats all at the same time. You have to be the mother, the father, the friend, the disciplinarian, the breadwinner, etc.

The Forgotten One
You how people say they wish they could remember what it was like to be a baby? I am not one of those people. My parents got into an argument and my father beat my mother while she was pregnant with me. This caused her to go into early labor and she had to be flown from Homer, Alaska to Anchorage Providence Hospital.
